TYPES OF DISMISSALS

1.⁠ ⁠Bowled: The ball hits the stumps, dislodging the bails
2.⁠ ⁠Caught: A fielder catches the ball after the batsman hits it with the bat without touching the ground
3.⁠ ⁠Leg Before Wicket (LBW): The batsman is out if the ball strikes their leg (in front of the stumps) and would have hit the stumps
4.⁠ ⁠Run Out: A fielder hits the stumps with the ball while the batsmen are running between the wickets
5.⁠ ⁠Stumped: The wicketkeeper puts down the stumps while the batsman is out of the crease after missing the ball
6.⁠ ⁠Hit Wicket: The batsman accidentally dislodges the stumps with their body or bat while playing a shot
